How do I prepare for my body treatment?

Taking a hot shower is always recommended prior to receiving a body treatment in order to promote muscle relaxation. Communicate your needs to the therapist. Please inform your therapist if you have any preferences, needs, or expectations. The more you communicate your preferences, the better the therapist will be able to provide an exceptional service.

How often should I receive a massage?

It varies. For the clients that use massage as preventative care and/or to manage daily stress, one massage every 2 -4 weeks is common. However, weekly sessions may be suitable if you are acquiring massages for pain related to injuries, or to relieve chronic pain. Nonetheless, feel free to treat yourself to a massage as often as you see fit.

Will I be covered during the session?

You should undress to your desired level of comfort. While most client’s prefer to be completely undressed for a full body massage, it is not a requirement. Nevertheless, some clients do prefer to keep their undergarments on. The decision is entirely up to you. Your therapist will step out and you will always undress and dress in the privacy of the massage room and be securely draped throughout the entire session.

Must I be completely undressed?

You will be properly draped throughout the entire session to keep you warm and comfortable. Solely the area being worked on will be exposed. No additional area will be exposed without your consent. However, if you feel uncomfortable for any reason throughout the service, please inform the therapist immediately.
